Raphan-Laye K. has played in venues and festivals all over giving Bass Support to various artists within a variety of directions such as Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Drum&Bass, Indie, Funk & AfroBeat, Dub/Ambient and Reggae.

A graduate of London College of Music & Media (BMus in Music Performance), Raphan has a deep interest in REGGAE (mdv) and Roots & World Music from Africa (such as Afrobeat, Soukous, etc..), the Caribbean (Zouk, Calypso, Soca, etc..), Cuba & Brazil as well as Indian & Persian classical music & devotional singing.

As a Music educated, feel orientated yet technically able, down-to-earth and friendly bassist based in London, Raphan is offering his services to Pro/Semi-Pro and/or serious outfits, artists, managers, producers for live gigs, recording sessions and deps. (Pro gear/Clean License/E.U Passport)

The Karmaã U Nit

Consist of Musicians/multi-instrumentalists/vocalists and Yoga practitioners with various professional experiences and musical/cultural backgrounds.

The number of musicians used for performances depends entirely on the requirements of the artist/group/show. We are able to provide a cut down semi acoustic 2/3 piece unit to a fully fledged collective with rhythm section, singers, keys, percussion and horn section.
